Here I go gushing about my husband.  Again.  Ladies, you cannot blame me for appreciating what a lucky lady I am.  Men, take note!  My husband whips up a masterpiece.  I wonder if I can convince him to make this a daily occurrence?  He definitely has skills.  The ribs were perfectly done, fall off the bone yummy!  Thank you husband!

That's it!  I'm buying a fancy grill so we HE can BBQ outdoors - the weather has been kind of icky lately, but that won't last!  I can taste the grilled goodies now...Korean BBQ, Oysters, Steaks, Kabobs....

My husband has truly figured out what matters most to me.  We have been together for 6+ years (2 as marrieds) and he still finds ways to make my day.  Did I get chocolate & flowers dropped off by a delivery man? NO. Thank goodness.  I received my flowers a week or two earlier, and they are still blooming beautifully.  I don't need or want chocolates.  He knows that I'm trying to drop a few pounds (even though he doesn't think I need too).  What made it the best?  My husband.  He and my baby boy came to spend my lunch break with me.  It was the sweetest...

Here is a picture of my big guy at the office.  Baby Boy wouldn't look at the camera...he was all smiles until I took out the camera. Figures.  Hoping your Valentine's Day is a good one.

A Family Now

Today my office was full of a FAMILY of tulips.  Twelve beautiful blooms/buds in red, pink, and white.  My picture does not do justice.  But it's the best I could do with my cell phone.  This wife is definitely a happy one!  Happy Life.  My husband's thoughtfulness really went a long way.  I'm very grateful.

Another beautiful day...

I think that my husband is pure genius in sending me my tulip garden.  He knows me even better than I thought!  Read my thoughts on Valentine's Day.  My gift was given to me well before Valentine's day and will last well after also!  This morning  I walked into my office and another sweet little bloom greeted me!  I love that I watched this grow.  After it's finished blooming I can replant them and enjoy them again.

In Bloom

A little over a week ago my husband surprised me with a Flower Delivery .  Instead of sending cut flowers (which usually do not last as long as a plant), he decided to send me a potted tulip garden.  It was fun to watch it grow!  To my sweet delight, I walked into my office to see that it has started to bloom!

Lucky Stars: THANK YOU

I have finally overcome being sick and I thank my lucky stars that I married the man that I did.  He is my hero.  Not once while I was sick did I wash one of the many annoying breast pump parts, nipples, or bottles (or any dishes for that matter).  My son never lacked for care. Not once did I have to worry about my baby because hubby had it under control.  I think I snatched up the last of the good guys.  It really is beyond me how single mothers and military wives (my mom was one) manage.  Super women.  I thank God that I have my Superman...
